The Programmer reports to the Director of IT and main function is to: Code, test, debug, document, and install both new programs/technologies and make changes to existing programs/technologies of a complex nature with in order to provide quality IT services to user departments.
Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar four-year education
Must have three to five years of IT experience working in a Manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in ERP- (ROSS ) Manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of Windows and Web programming
Proven HTML, CSS, and client/server web-scripting skills and ability to troubleshoot application and database issues
Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, object-oriented programming, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, and smart device programming a plus.
Working knowledge of the application development process from project inception to design, coding, testing, deployment, users training, and writing all associated documentation
Proficient with client/server or web programming using any visual programming tool such as Visual Studio 2, WebSphere, or Dreamweaver
Creates XML Schemas

Creates and executes various change controls and projects and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Perform program upgrades and migrations as needed
Research and implement new systems and recommend applications
Maintain legacy applications and databases
Communicates and enforces coding standards
Manages resources within budget and project schedule.
Reviews work of team.
Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients.
Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Leads internal teams/task forces.
Actively contributes to corporate knowledge base.
